FATHERS’ AND GRANDFATHERS’ DAY at KOKI Village
DAD, this time YOU are the main adventure! On 13 September, from 11:00 to 18:00, we invite families to KOKI Village, where we’ll celebrate dads, grandfathers, godfathers and all the wonderful grown-ups who are a strong shoulder to lean on and a true adventure buddy for children!
ANNAS Celebration at Annas Koku Skola
This will be a day to meet, get to know one another, share stories and celebrate summer together. There will be activities and games for children, workshops, delicious treats, a craft market and plenty of other delights. We will open the White Pavilion, celebrate all the Annas and enjoy the festivities together!
THE PRE-MIDSUMMER PRUNING WORKSHOP HAS TAKEN PLACE!
Today, together with Edgars Neilands, we spent a full day dedicated to the art of pruning trees, shrubs and hedges. From theory to hands on practice in KOKI Park, the day was filled with work, shared knowledge, experience and professional tips.
We spent an inspiring day full of knowledge, taking a deeper look into the art of NIWAKI and BONSAI.
We began the morning with philosophy, with a lecture led by Inga Valtere, founder of “Ziemeļu Bonsai”. We gained valuable insight into how and why we shape trees, searching for a balance between nature, tools and the human hand. Under the guidance of Edgars Neilands and Aigars Priede, we learned how to shape different conifers by pruning, bending and discovering the unique character of each plant.
WE’VE CELEBRATED THE SPRING GARDEN FESTIVAL!
Together with friends, family, colleagues and other guests, we shared a truly warm and heartfelt celebration. It was a joy to see so many smiling and inspired faces! Together, we listened to Edgars Neilands present his latest labour of love, the book DĀRZNIEKA MANIFESTS. And KOKI Village’s NEW SHOW GARDEN is now officially open!
